How I feel about Angular 2

How I feel about Angular 2

A few weeks ago I was privileged to spend time with Pascal Precht while he was preparing his talk for NG-NL on Angular 2 change detection.

We spent hours and hours figuring out how change detection works. The more  we examined the Angular 2 source code, the more I was overwhelmed by the amount of research and engineering that the Angular team has put into it.

Knowing that such an incredibly talented team has put so much effort in so many little details makes me feel blessed. Blessed that all of it is open source. Blessed that I have the opportunity to use software that I would have never been able to write myself. Blessed that I am allowed to build many wonderful things with it. Free of charge.

So when I hear people complain about the new template syntax, I silently turn away, put on a smile and think: "Wait till you see what you can build with it..."

Thank you Google. Thank you Angular team. We owe you one—big time!
